Students that complete a NY State approved teacher preparation program at the University at Albany can request verification of degree completion as part of the certification application process in another state. If you did not complete an approved teacher preparation program or the state does not have a required verification form but need proof that you completed a degree at the University, please request an official transcript.

The University cannot:

Verify certificates already awarded (this is available on TEACH)
Verify grades or GPA (a transcript should be requested)
Guarantee that a certificate will be awarded in another state
Verify NYSED required test scores or fingerprinting
